There are 2 main ways to upload media. You can upload media from PieCharts on Photos tab or from Archive tab.
PieCloud supports uploading most video and photo types. There might be some types of videos and photos that PieCloud doesn't support currently. Also, PieCloud uploads live photos as still photos currently.
No, PieCloud does not support document upload currently.
No, PieCloud albums appear in Drive tab, while iPhone albums appear in Photos tab, so they are not necessarily same.
No, uploads happen only when there is Wi-Fi. However, you can still select media and click upload when there is no Wi-Fi. Those medias will be saved and start uploading once Wi-Fi is available.
Yes, PieCloud supports background uploads. However, uploads will go faster when app is on foreground. Background uploads can be suspended by iOS anytime, which is beyond PieCloud's control. We recommend keeping the app on foreground as much as possible for faster uploads.
Yes, subscription is required to be able to upload media. You can use some other features without subscription.
Yes, you can cancel subscription anytime. If you cancel your subscription for a 50 GB storage within 2 months after you subscribe, then you don't get charged. This does not apply to tiers other than 50 GB.
Yes, you can go to Archive tab, and click on the Cloud icon on upper right corner, and then select specific medias to upload. You can select specific medias on Photos tab as well by clicking on albums and selecting medias under PieChart.
Yes, all medias are encrypted by default before uploading, so nobody other than yourself, not even PieCloud, can see uploaded medias.
No, auto uploading currently is not supported.
